Capture and Control Your Pocket PC’s Screen using Pocket Snapshot

ps.pngAs per Dexter’s request, here are some information about the software that I am using when capturing my O2 Atom Pure’s screen.

As per the latest information from where i downloaded it, its free to try, there’s no information on up to when will it be valid without requiring the user to purchase the product hehe

Aside from capturing screen, which i used on my previous post about Avot mV, you can take full control of your Pocket PC’s screen from your desktop computer. I really find this useful since i can type text messages without actually using my phone.

It’s really easy to use, since after the installation, all you have to do is to connect to the device you want to control from your desktop computer (connected through cable, bluetooth etc). This is done by selecting file–> connect to device option.

Upon detection of the connected device, the software will automatically be installed on your phone/pocket pc.

To fully control your phone, just execute the Pocket Snapshot software from your desktop computer, then execute the pocket snaphot software from your phone/pocket pc, click the Tools option located at the lower right corner of the screen and select ’Connect’. Basically that’s it. I haven’t encountered any connection problems.

If you are familiar with VNC and the like, it works basically like that.

You can download the Pocket Snapshot software here
