Well, I always buy my gadgets based on my needs. I make sure to define and layout the things that I want and search for the ones that fit them.

Based on research and reviews from all over the net, It is the HTC Desire that fits my needs and my personality perfectly .

In case you are in a dilemna of finding your perfect smart phone, consider this post as a compilation of what I had read from websites, blogs and forums about the most wanted smart phones today.

i had the same problem before i got my phone. inisip ko rin mag samsung galaxy s. inaamin ko na masmaganda sa features ang samsung kasi:
* faster ang processing nya – playing doom in samsung is alot smoother than in the desire (pero im not into playing games)
* capable mag video call ang samsung galaxy s, sa htc desire walang video call – pero i never did use this feature on my old phone, and besides i have a second phone that can do video calls naman so i can just use that incase i need it
* mas magaan ang samsung galaxy
* malaki ang internal memory ng samsung galaxy s

pero pinili ko parin mag desire dahil:
* when i saw my friend’s galaxy, gawa lang pala sa plastic yung phone, it felt so cheap on my hands, parang hindi worth 32,000
* samsung does’t support their phones. I got a samsung jet august of last year, and until now wala silang nilalabas na new widget for it or any software update. baka pabayaan din nila yung galaxy. buti pa ang desire may froyo update, ang samsung wala (pa) at hindi ako sure kung magkakaron
* i dont like the icons ng galaxy, parang trying hard maging iphone kasi naka box din yung icons, plus pa side din yung sweep ng icons nila, parang sa iphone
* ang daming murang samsung na phone, and if my phone looked cheap because of the plastic, people might think na cheap din cya. iba kasi yung feel ng htc, rubber and metal siya kaya mukhang mahal

tingnan mo muna kung ano mas importante sayo. kasi i think both have their selling points, depende na sayo yon kung ano yung mas mahalaga sayo

If you are looking for the price of Nokia N900 here in the Philippines, you came to the right place . Why? because I have been checking Nokia N900 price on several stores recently.

Well, yeah, I am not a Nokia Phone fan, but Nokia N900 will be my next phone (I’m addicted to mobile phones ok lol). Nah! I have been using a basic phone since last year, this is to accommodate my dual sim need.

But I guess using 2 SIMs at the same time is not that practical at all. So I decided to cancel one of the network’s plan that I am using as soon as it expires.

My need right now, is a smart phone that is capable of anything online . A fast machine that will keep me organized and will keep me connected to the internet whenever I need to, and a lot of things of course

I guess my intro is long enough lol! yeah, I have been eyeing on the Nokia N900. This is the first ever Nokia phone that I intent to buy, and I will buy it soon!!!!!

Why Nokia N900?

Nokia N900 Features and Specifications

(will update this post later)

So How much does Nokia N900 costs here in the Philippines? I already went to two stores so far, and here are their prices:

(Will update the store name later)

Store 1: Php27,000

Store2: 28,000

All in cash basis

I am using the Myphone Q22 for quite sometime now, I guess It’s time to post a complete review of the myphone q22 phone.

Why buy the Myphone Q22 Qwerty Phone?

This is a cheap phone. If you are on a tight budget yet you want a dual SIM qwerty talk and text phone, then this phone is for you. As I mentioned earlier this is a super cheap phone, so don’t expect it to do a lot of things except for talk and texting (and then some).

Myphone Q22 Duo package

Package contains the following:

Q22 Duo Unit

Battery

Charger

Manuals

Earphones

PC Sync Software Mini CD

Warranty Card

Where to buy the Myphone Q22 duo

I bought mine at ADI Telecom. I assume that most of the their Branches carries the said phone.

You can try to look at the ff. shops, I saw them carrying different Myphone models on their display (All at SM):

ADI telecom

Wellcom

DGD Trading

To be updated…

Last Updated: 02/22/2011

Due to large number of questions I received on setting up GPRS/MMS of Myphone phones, I decided to edit this post to make it more detailed and more user friendly.

I believe that all Myphone phones have the GPRS/MMS settings for all networks installed by default. This is true to all myphone phones that I had tested, but just in case your phone doesn’t have the settings, I listed the procedure below.

Select your network provider

MMS/GPRS Settings for SUN

MMS/GPRS Settings for GLOBE

MMS/GPRS Settings for SMART

Please see the download link below.. I included the instruction at the same time, you can see the instruction on how to use the pinoy content on the link below.

Update: I am now downloading (again! since I had deleted them already, for me pinoy contents are useless) the pinoy contents to provide a detail instructions and pictures for those commented that they can’t make it work.. please be patient, the download takes a while since the files are really big!.

My myphone Q22 is one of the phones in the pinoy phone series, which has this so called, ‘Pinoy contents’ in it. But for any reason, the said 2GB mini SD card is not included in the package, so the Pinoy entry in the main menu is useless for me.

Pinoy Contents

Prayers

Alam mo ba?

Great Filipino Quotes

Bugtong

Salawikain

Joke Joke Joke

Famous Movie lines

OPM

Sing -a – long

Tunog Pinoy

Pinoy Library

Pinoy Gallery

You can download the Myphone Pinoy Contents here <Download Link>

How to use the Pinoy Contents

Using USB Cable, Connect your phone to PC. Then select mass storage.

On your PC, go to start menu select my computer, then select the drive of your empty memory card.

Make a New Folder named it “Pinoy”

Open the Pinoy Folder you created then copy the Pinoy folder (the one you downloaded), then follow the Prayer folder, and last copy all the MP3′s.

That’s it!
