I believe that all Myphone phones have the GPRS/MMS settings for all networks installed by default. This is true to all myphone phones that I had tested.

But in case where the settings are not installed, you can get the settings here

To check if the settings are installed, go to Main menu – > Services -> Data Account – >GPRS

Basically, you should see entries like Smart MMS,Smart GPRS,myGlobe MMS,myGlobe GPRS etc etc…..

Assuming you have installed the correct settings, go to Main Menu -> Services -> WAP -> (Sim 1 or Sim2) – > Settings -> Edit Account -> (Sim 1 or Sim2) -> Select the appropriate settings for that SIMs network. (i.e. If Globe is installed on SIM slot 1, you should select myGlobe WAP) etc.

Do the same for SIM2

To test,Go to Main Menu – > Services -> WAP – > Sim 1 or Sim 2 -> Homepage. This should display the WAP homepage of that particular network.

For GPRS/MMS activation, please call the respective customer service of your SIMs network provider

I just saw this link at the sidebar of my multiply Inbox. At first I wasn’t sure on which or whom is now accepting Gcash so I click the link out of curiosity.

I was taken to the ‘Upgrade to Multiply Premium Account” page. There are two plans available and are both priced in peso currency. It is also stated there to ‘Pay with GCASH’.

Well, I’m a long time Gcash user, and I really find it really convenient and easy for us who enjoy online shopping. Multiply accepting GCASH is a easier way for them to convert members who are interested to upgrade to premium account. This also shows that multiply is on its way in reaching its Pinoy members

The pinoy contents is supposed to have the following:

Prayers

Alam mo ba?

Great Filipino Quotes

Bugtong

Salawikain

Joke Joke Joke

Pinoy Gallery

Just tonight, I received an email from the admins of myphone duality forum (i believe), giving links to download the pinoy contents for free. So I am really happy. I am downloading the contents right now.

Ok, ok, I have been receiving this question either thru the comments page or thru YM messages, so I decided to create this post..

My comparison is based on the features that I had tried so far. Will update this post as soon as I encounter something that is worth posting here lol.

Price Comparison:

Myphone Q21 costs around Php4700.00 while Myphone Q22 costs Php 3540.00.

Physical

In my opinion, the manufacturer spent more on Q21’s physical construction, mostly on the materials used, thus the price difference. Well, that’s just my observation and opinion. Q21 feels solid, looks elegant (I only have the black one, so I can only speak for that particular unit). On the other hand, Q22 looks cheap at first glance, but it is still ok for me. it feels like a creaky plastic, plus I hate the Philippines map at the back cover (duh!)

Features and Menu

Features are almost the same. The arrangement of Icons in the main menu is different on both phones. There are extra icons in the Q22 main menu. These are mainly links to several sites like Yahoo, facebook, twiter, friendster among others, which I find really annoying.

Q21 Menu displays basic icons which you usually access, which I prefer.

Illustration:

Magic Voice

No Magic voice is installed in Q22, while it is found at Q21’s general call settings. What is Magic Voice? The very basic and simple way to describe it is, even when you are a girl, your caller can hear a man’s voice if magic voice is activated (depends on setting). I find this useful when I received some ‘makulit’ callers lol.

Earphones

Myphone Q22 earphones is really improved.

Sounds

Both deliver quality sound when the built in speaker is activated

Keypad and texting

Texting using Q21 is really hassle free. Characters are displayed on the screen as you type them, no delays. This is also true with Q22.

What I noticed though in Q22’s keypad, there are some awkward keys (i don’t know how to describe this lol). This is mostly on the function keys. See marked areas in the picture below. Though, when you get used to it, it will not be your concern anymore.

‘Period’ (.) has its own key in Q22, unlike in Q21 that you need to press Alt M, or select in the list of symbols.

Just recently I noticed this, Myphone Q22 keypad is softer than Q21, thus giving me a more comfortable feel while texting.

Final Notes

If you are on a very tight budget and you want a qwerty phone, with basic functionality, and you don’t mind not having the magic voice, well Myphone Q22 is the one to buy. If you find the physical a bit cheap, you can always opt to dress it up with cellphone skin. I had seen the white one, and its quite elegant, you can choose to get this instead.

Otherwise, go for Myphone Q21. I prefer to have this personally

But, with some improvements in Q22, I believe the next Qwerty phone from Myphone would be next to perfect! waaaaa I hope they’ll give me one!!!! lol! (wishful thinking)

Thanks Mai for this review:

Being a mom, my first priority are my kids, my hubby only follows hehe.. and so I stumble again to this site wherein they sell a unique, cheap and fashionable carriers for babies. With their site bearing their product logos, you will surely be thrilled on what else is inside their shop, you won’t be out of the way since navigation tools on her site is very much friendly and with no complications at all, no glittering or moving icons, colors not too much bright and most of all no background music! =)

Upon looking at their products, you will really get curious on how effective they are on kids specially on babies, but to my disappointment, when I first posted a comment on their baby carrier photos, in which I asked if the baby will be really comfortable in it and if it won’t harm the baby specially her legs, I didn’t received a reply and worst she even deleted my post! I don’t know if its just by accident or what. Well, anyway, as I searched for other carriers for my baby, I found out that her shop has the most easy to use and mind you, more cheaper carriers than the other stores. And so I took my chance again, I texted the seller and whoa! She is very accomodating. All of the questions that popped into my mind had been answered by her, with a very quick response.

Finally, As I got convinced to purchase one, but can’t submit Order Form since multiply site is blocked from our office, she allowed me to just text my details and the deal is closed. Sent my payment via G-Cash ( I add up ten pesos as service charge as she said it is usually shouldered by the buyer ) and the next day I got my carrier through Xend. Her other payment option is through Bank Deposits at either BDO or BPI Accounts or COD if client is near West Avenue Quezon City.

She also has customized onesies and t-shirts at her shop and they are really very unique but I think they are a bit expensive with their selling price starting at 399. I might just go for Osh Kosh or Big & Small Co. if I will be willing to shell out that amount for my kids clothing.=)

Visit their site at http://shoptinytots.multiply.com

Thanks Mai for this review:

I have never find another socks anywhere in the mall as this online shop have. Owned by Rhianna and Sherryl, both fashionable moms became very well-known because of their “FUNKY FEET SOCKS”. With their very simple and neat multiply site, you will never be out of way in finding unique and one of a kind items for your little ones.

Upon my first purchase with them, I have become a frequent buyer at their store. With their shoe-like socks, my two little darlings really catches the attention of many whenever we go to the mall, visit their pediatrician or just attend family gatherings they have look like Little Fashion Divas ( forgive me if I’m exaggerating ). They also sell other stuffs for kids that is not usually seen at the malls. You will have a really smooth transaction with them with their modes of payment that you could choose from, bank deposits at BDO, G-cash or C.O.D. and a great deal of next day delivery.

Being moms like me, they both are very accomodating with inquiries, giving you straight and forward answers with regards to the products they are selling.

As for my recent visit at their shop, they have a new collection of their socks that is another hit for my youngest daughter. At a much cheaper price since they come in 3pcs per pack unlike before wherein they have it in 5’s plus it comes in a much larger size, perfect for daughter’s chubby feet hehe.. bought it as soon as they become available. Right now I’m thinking of buying at least one set each for a girl and a boy and give it as a Christmas gift for their Pedia’s daughter since she vocally says she want the very same socks as my daughter have and another one for a friend’s son to be baptized this month.

And as I browsed upon their blogs, they now have a slot at Rustan’s Department Store, stuffs at their online shop are displayed there and of course a little less on the cost since you don’t have to pay for the shipping. A highly recommended shop for mommies like me!
