While a lot of bloggers are blogging about their new year’s resolution and their plans for the new year, I am on my bed having some rest due to sickness. I am still not feeling well but I am oblige to update my blogs since I don’t want to be left behind.
The new year brings some good and bad news in the blogosphere, and TechieGirl has been affected by both. One of the bad news which affected this blog last January 4, if I’m not mistaken ,was the issue with Advertlets. I just hope that they will not consult a Business valuation firm to check about their worth and decide to sell their business. Anyways, they are up and running again, but I am still having second thoughts if I am going to place their ads again.
Enough of the bad news…
Since I find the old sidebar a ‘lil bit cluttered, this blog now comes with a new simple layout. Hoping to increase my adsense earnings with this new layout lol!
Another change that (I hope) will bring more earnings on this blog is the increase of page rank. Yes this blog is now PR3 (from PR0), and as of today, this PR change has given me a lot of earning opportunities!
This Blog’s Goals for the year 2008
- Bring techiegirl to a higher PR, I won’t aim high yet so my target is PR4
- Have a mobile version of this site. I have been planning for this one and I hope to make it happen this year.
- Increase my adsense earnings
- Increase the number of unique visitors and RSS Subscribers
- Improve my posts and post about new topics.
- Increase the over all quality of the site.
My Personal Goals for the year 2008
- Go to the gym daily as what I used to do before I had started blogging lol! This will also motivate me to write about new fitness gadgets.
- Attend several electronics show as to bring fresh techie news to my readers.
- Attend some bloggers’ events, hoping to meet a lot of bloggers that I had known online.
- Buy a printer ink for my printer since it has been stuck for almost a year now. This is my first time (believe it or not) to change/ refill my printer’s ink.
- Come to the office on time. I am addicted to blogging. Nuf said haha…
I am hoping that all of my goals for 2008 will be achieved as the year ends

hi techiegirl—had the same experience with my epson printer one—but i ommitted a very grave mistake—removed the ink cartridge without replacing it for a long time–ayun nasira ang printer na 1 month ko lang nagamit ha!ha!ha! serves me right! hope this does not happen to you. ay wait—can we x links?
