I just want to announce that I had successfully withdrawn my Paypal fund to my BPI bank account! This is my first withdrawal transaction to a Philippine bank account so I am really excited.
Paypal to BPI Withdwal Details
Paypal withdrawal date: January 31, 2008.
Bank: BPI
Account Type: BPI Express Teller Savings Account (PHP) (Savings acct. not the debit card)
Bank Code: 010040018
I received the money withdrawn above last February 05, 2008. An amount of PHP150 was deducted by BPI from the total amount withdrawn.
The total deduction from the amount withdrawn is PHP200 (Paypal: 50, Local Bank: 150). Almost the same deduction when withdrawn to UnionBank EON on $US1 = PHP40 exchange rate 
Waiting time is 2-5 banking days. Based from my experience, I get my money every Wednesday, whether I withdrawn from Paypal, Thursday the previous week, or Monday the current week. I think they have this sort of clearing day/time.
Since I keep on receiving queries about BPI ExpressCash and BPI Express Account in relation to paypal, I had decided to modify this post to include information to answer these questions:

As of today, NO. If you don’t have a credit card, you can use Unionbank EON Cyber account to verify your paypal account.

Hi, i just applied for a bpi express teller savings account today. next wk ko pa makukuha. talaga bang magagamit mo ‘to to withdraw paypal funds? verified na yung account ko, gusto ko lang isure kung pwede ba gamitin tong bpi atm to withdraw the funds.. ngtry kasi ako ng smart money, pwd lang pala for verification..

magkaiba po kasi ung embossed numbers at ung printed numbers sa card ko, alin po ba doon ang gagamitin ko sa pag add ng bank account ko sa paypal?

I dont have my bpi atm anymore.. but basically gamitin mo yung account number na ginagamit mo kapag mag dedeposit ka po sa account mo.. also double check kung pwede yung BPI Family bank..

I doubt if the fees for these withdrawals can be avoided so I’m just going to ask, if I want to go with the transaction with the LEAST fees, should I go with BPI or EON to withdraw from Paypal? How much is BPI charging now? I don’t have EON yet so I’m researching also if it’s worth the trouble to get that or do I have to to save on fees? My Paypal is already verified with my credit card. I’m thinking also that BPI may be charging only if transfers are from Paypal ($) to BPI peso account. If I transfer to a dollar account, baka walang charges. Sorry to bombard you with the questions, I just didn’t find the answer on BPI’s site, and maybe you can answer with your experience on this. Thanks!
I suggest you use EON. Php 50 lang charge for the transaction. Just add it as your bank account. hassle free…
Automatic bang mababawas sa balance mo sa paypal yung amount na na-withdraw mo? nag withdraw kasi ko tas may confirmation naman from paypal pero di nabawasan yung balance ko. ganun ba talaga yun? First time ko kasi mag withdraw sa paypal.
