I just received a free GCASH advisory that Paypal account holders can now transfer money straight to their GCASH accounts. This is made possible using the GCASH online service. It is basically a services where anyone who owns a gcash account can access their GCash account online and check their balances as well as send money to another Gcash account

I’m really excited to try this service so I tried to transfer 100 pesos from my paypal account to my gcash account…so sad I actually missed the part where it is stated that this service is available only for “verified US Paypal accounts”
So when I tested it.. I got the message:
Sorry, we are unable to process your transaction at this time. Your country is not among the allowed countries who can use this facility.

if you guys wants to turn your paypal fund into cash, you can consider selling it to others who paypal. rediscounting is okay
have you guys seen the fees? transferring 10k will cost you 500, forget it, there are other methods besides this.

I’ve been looking for a way to withraw my paypal funds via gcash though.. have you tried adding Gcash as a bank account on paypal? my wife got this ‘gcash card’ a few months ago and we were looking for a way to withraw paypal funds and transfer it to gcash this way.
Hmm i already got my gcash card too.. we will try that.. though im not sure if thats possible
